This crate has been a lifesaver, big enough for our pup to feel like she isn't trapped but small enough for her to feel safe. It pops up easily, is sturdy and also easy to collapse. The tote is great and well thought out! She loves the mesh to be able to see me in the room and I feel like it will hold up well. Arrived quickly and is a very affordable price. We got the large
Ilo is a 15 week old Cavachon puppy that is kennel trained. He took right to this pop up kennel. Thanks for making such great products!
We got this for our 9 month boxer, who sleeps in a kennel when we are at home. Since he grew out of his hard-sided travel kennel, it seems like all of our travel nights have been interrupted by him waking up and wandering around, sometime crying, in an unfamiliar place. Unfortunately, we didn't have a chance to acclimate him to the sport sack dog tent as much as we would have liked before the first use, so there was some complaint the first time he was in the kennel. As promised, the netting stood up to several strong scrapes with sharp dog toenails as he settled in, and he ended up sleeping great! Not only did we have the peace of mind that our friend's house wasn't getting destroyed by a curious puppy, but we also didn't have any middle-of-the-night walkabouts or whining. Highly recommend for any crate-trained dog to have a bigger option that is both super-portable and durable.
great little pup tent
Love how portable the kennels are! We have two morkies who are crate trained, and so when we travel it is their home away from home no matter where they are. It is their space where they feel safe and secure. Thank You!
My dog loves her sport sack - we use it multiple times a week and now she's super excited whenever I pull the bag out. It's light and secure and the pockets on the side are great for holding a water bottle and her leash. Great purchase for my adventure buddy!
I had my doubts that this would work, since Roo is super skinny (12 pounds) with a long body, and giraffe legs. He fits just fine in a smalll, and he loves it! He likes to rest his head on our shoulders when were riding, and seems happy as a clam all snug in his backpack. What a fun product! Now Roo can join us on bike rides!
My dog surprisngly had no complaints. She loved this. She is an 11-lb maltipoo and we were so impressed that she was so well-behaved in it. It took a few tries for us to get her properly snug in the carrier but we've got the hang of it now. For reference, she fit in the extra small perfectly. Every time we take it out she gets so excited! The carrier is very comfortable on and she doesn't feel too heavy in it on our bike rides either. We've tried side slings and a roomy backpack but this is by far the best carrier. Would definitely recommend!
We got the Small size for our 14 pound pup. We lucked out and had no problems at all getting him into the sack. We've gone on a couple bike rides already, and he seems to be very comfortable in it. Our dog has a bit of separation anxiety so being able to safely take him along on bike rides is a game changer!
Great product - easy to use. City dweller - use the sport sack to walk past busy, hot street - pup safe and secure, away from the hot exhaust of passing cars, no concerns pup might get glass or burnt paws. Love our purchase, highly recommend it. Her face and the reactions we get when we venture out alone are priceless. Only issue is the strap that clamps across the chest the positioning is odd and with the weight of Laura, it'll rest too close to my neck. Holding the strap down and away from my neck or not using it helps. Still highly recommend it, love this purchase.
Our pup loves it. We bought the larger size so she could grow into it and stuffed the bottom with a towel for the mean time. It didnt come with a carabiner so we had to buy one. The extra storage is perfect for doggy accessories (poop bags, treats, leash, etc). Would be more comfortable with a waist strap. The material is durable. Pup is secure.
5 year old Tilly has troubles on long walks. This is perfect! We start out walking and when she's tired, she goes in to the backpack. She is so comfortable she actually falls asleep! Great product, couldn't recommend more
I love the bag, I just need a little more padding in the arm straps. A waist belt would also be super helpful. My dog is a red heeler and weighs 29 pounds. I rode my bike about four miles with her after a few short practice rides, and in order to go more than a mile or so, it would be helpful to have more padding. I had sore shoulders due to the pulling. I love the bag, otherwise! It's convenient for times when we can't or don't want to use her bike carrier, and we intend on using it a lot on public transit.
I got a large in mustard for my corgi and it's been great. We originally got it cause we wanted to bring him out but was worried about him not having all his shots (as a puppy) so this came in really handy! I didn't realize there were booster blocks we could get but we made do with towels. Recently, Radar's been growing older so he's growing into it pretty well. We take the backpack whenever we go somewhere in case he gets tired of walking. Super useful! Bonus feature is that he looks really cute in it.
Nice bag but my Beagle isn't comfy in it
This is just what we needed! Bailey is now 12 years old and cant go for long hikes like he used to but we still want to take him with us! Before we used to have to carry him over our shoulders when he stopped but this is so much better. It fits similar to a hiking backpack although there was more pressure on my shoulders with the k9sportsack and a 40lb dog than with a backpacking pack of about 30lbs. But it is 100 times better than carrying him on my shoulders! We had no issues getting bailey into the bag and he seems so comfortable. Especially now, when we are on a long hike and he is done, he has no issue stepping right into the pack to go for a ride and take a break. The bag seems durable and I like the extra features like the vents on the side and the clip on extra bag for all his goodies. Another use we plan to try is taking him on the subway in the k9sportsack because he will be contained and I think that is the rule. I would highly recommend giving it a try and I am not sure what the return policy is after you try it out but it is worth it to see if your dog would like it. Its an investment I am so glad I made!
So I have a 3 month old border collie but shes kind of a chunker. I got the XL backpack I think and I had to put something at the bottom so she could fit but I figure shes going to only get way bigger so its perfect. Wow she loves it, I take her everywhere now in the Rover. It keeps her so safe during our bike rides and whenever we have to drive anywhere on the scooter. I absolutely love this thing and I can take my baby everywhere. This model has a hoodie for her and a backpack where I can put my wallet and phone. Sabine is 21inches long and 26 pounds currently
I read all the reviews about how amazing this bag is and yep! It is! My dog absolutely loves it and I love being able to take her everywhere. When shes on my back, paws on my shoulders, I feel even more connected and together in the moment with her :) also very durable and well-made! Highly recommended!
My dog Gizmo gets excited everytime I bring out his backpack.
I did get the trainer which is good for shorter trips. Ive done a few longer ones and will be purchasing the nicer one with more padding. If youre thinking about this, get it. So practical and perfect to take your doggy around!
Lucille is just big enough that she doesn't fit in most backpacks so I was so happy to see that these come in such big sizes. It is great for our bike rides and for when she will get tired on hikes. It is pretty comfortable for me and she seems to like it. I only wish that the straps could tighten more. She's got a long body, but doesn't have a lot of girth.
Easy to use and as soon as I got my dog to sit in it instead of try to stand, she loved it too.
I ordered the K9 Trainer for my newest rescue. Molly is a puppy mill survivor and she is eight years old. She is a chihuahua, short with short legs. She loves her walks, but she does tire. She still wants to stay out and the K9 Trainer is the perfect solution. She can ride and my hands are still free to walk my other rescues! I have three other K9 sacks in sizes extra small to medium and a booster block so everyone has a carrier I can use as the dogs get older. My dogs love their carriers. Thank you K9!!
I take my 8 year old Boston Terrier on rides every morning through SF. I no longer have to feel guilty about getting a ride in and leaving her at home. Plus, she's been getting a lot of exercise and she's never been in this good of shape. Highly recommend the Urban sack, the quality is great!
This my second carrier I have purchased in the last three months! They are great ! My dog, Roxy, loves them and allows her to go with me on outings that she would otherwise be left at home! Im sure we will be buying more!
I got the K9 Sport Sack for my sister's dog Bessie. After just a few outings, she now doses off while in the sack. Really. The only thing that would make her more comfortable is a wee neck pillow! My sister and brother-in-law love the flexibility of being able to take Bessie along on longer hikes or trips to Home Depot. She's quiet in stores because she feels snug and secure and she appreciates a rest on hikes because her legs are super short. Everyone wins!
I love the style and quality of the K9 Sport Sack. Love the thick comfortable straps and the grey and leather style. The medium size fit my Frenchie perfect (His measurements are 16 inches length from neck to butt and 23 inches chest/girth). I get sooo many compliments, looks, and laughs as I ride around on my bike with him on my back :) He loves it too and is happy to step in the backpack, and the zipper makes it real easy to get him in and out. Also great customer service!
I bought this for my son to take his Pug with him when he rides his one wheel and they BOTH love this sack! The fit was perfect and now they both can enjoy the ride.
Great pack size! Fits my dog well! Hope it holds up to my dogs paws. If shipping to Canada ask if product can be shipped USPS and not UPS. With USPS you may incur duty. With UPS you will incur duty and UPS charges a bond fee on top of shipping
Still waiting for my pup to go near it, but I like it
I recently bought the L/XL K9 Sport Sleeper for DeVito . He's about 19 inches from neck to base of tail , so it was plenty big for him. He loves laying on it vs hardwood floors at home. I also ordered the S/M size to put inside his Sports Shack . We use it for our SNL "city camping" . He loves going inside and curling up . It's very well made , inflates and deflates quickly and easily and rolls up small enough to take anywhere you might want your doggo to be more comfortable .
We have both the sports sleeper and sports shack in our RV and Otis our French bulldog travels and sleeps very well in it.
